Piracy and insecurity in the Gulf of Guinea:

by Michel Luntumbue, researcher at GRIP

30 September 2011

Abstract

The rise of piracy in the Gulf of Guinea is a challenge for the economy of the coastal states that rely on ports activities and oil export. Key words : Piracy, oil issue, border conflicts, armed groups, trafficking, smuggling.
